Re-designed packaging of Honey Nut Cheerios
Honey Nut Cheerios, a brand that has existed since 1979, is well-established and familiar to the general public. This cereal box design features a re-imagined cohesive collage of images, shapes, lines, and patterns which aims to create a new, modern, explorative design. Designed in the form of a slanted hexagon, this packaging reflects some of the root elements and ingredients of Honey Nut Cheerios. Hexagons, circles, and lines all work together to connect and transition the eye around the edges of the packaging. The maroon, golden orange, and dark teal colors are chosen to express the timeless character of Cheerios, but also present the brand in a modern way. Integrated into the side of the box, is a clear window that displays the Cheerios. Each side and edge is meant to be connected with transitions, contrast, and opposition to encourage a new look fora classic cereal brand.
